Steven Anderson

Hi, I’m Steve.

I’ve lived in the Reno area since 1959, after growing up at Lake Tahoe. I’m married and have three children. I’m a U. S. Navy veteran and graduated from UNR.

I began my real estate career in 1980, giving me over 35 years of experience in the business. All of my real estate career has been in the local Northern Nevada marketplace, including Reno, Sparks, Carson City, Fernley, Fallon, Dayton, Silver Springs, Minden, Gardnerville, Lake Tahoe (in Nevada), and other nearby communities. I work at Keller-Williams, Group One, Inc. in the South Meadows office and have been a very successful agent in the Reno-Sparks Association of Realtors since 1980.

I have a full-time executive assistant to help with the high level of communication I believe is required to assist my clients. My assistant is very competent with computers and has the knowledge and ability to create excellent advertising pieces for my clients. He is also a professional photographer, doing all the photography for my listings and helping me with the marketing and promotion of the homes I list for sale.

For several years, I have been serving as a case mediator and arbitrator for Dispute Resolutions Services of the Nevada State Bar, a volunteer position which requires excellent negotiating skills. This opportunity adds to my ability to better represent my clients in their negotiations.

Since my real estate career started, I have helped well over 1,500 families and individuals do two things:

  • Find the home of their dreams, and
  • Successfully sell their current home to prospective buyers.

When necessary, I’ve interviewed Realtors® in other cities in order to help my clients with their relocation to another part of the country.

I love what I do and enjoy helping people with their real estate needs. I am results-driven and will work tirelessly to get the job done! The help I provide can be matched up with the days of the week you are available.


Rob Mc Artor

Hi! I’m Rob Mc Artor, Steve’s experienced, research and marketing assistant. I moved to the Truckee Meadows in 1991 and met Steve when he helped me purchase my first home here. While Steve was showing me homes, my talents and capabilities made him think I might be a good addition to his real estate business. I joined him shortly after that and we’ve been a team now for over a quarter of a century!

I have been a professional assistant for high level executives for over 35 years. The leadership skills I learned in the Navy and my experience at running an office allow me to free Steve’s time to spend with his clients, showing them homes and helping them achieve their real estate goals and dreams. My background is in marketing and advertising, so I help Steve promote his clients’ listings to their best advantage.

I have successfully completed the requirements and testing to earn Microsoft Office Specialist certifications. As a professional photographer, I use my talent and skill with a camera to do high-quality, digital photography of the homes Steve lists for sale. Using several image editors, I am able to create unique, customized, advertisement pieces, making Steve’s presentation of your home exceptional. Steve and I make the marketing of your home a multi-level, multi-faceted endeavor, exposing your home to the broadest segment of the market over many venues and mediums.

The analytical research skills I bring to the table assist Steve in determining the fair market value of clients’ homes, in preparation for marketing, and to position your home to compete effectively. These skills also contribute to his ability to find your new home, at the right price.

All of this makes it easy for me to help Steve to better represent you and successfully resolve the everyday challenges Steve’s clients face, whether buying or selling their homes.
